Dr Fiona Chan
Consultant Adult Ophthalmologist

Dr Fiona Chan graduated from The University of Queensland in 1997 with first class Honours and commenced her residency training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.  She commenced Ophthalmology training as a registrar in 2003 in Queeensland and completed her training as the Senior Registrar in 2007, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists.

Dr Chan has been a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Brisbane Eye Clinic since late 2008 which has both a  central Brisbane CBD office and a suburban Aspley office.  She has recently commenced an additional clinic at Cura Consulting Suites in Spring Hill.  

Dr Chan practices general adult Ophthalmology.  This includes managing cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease. 

Surgery for eye conditions such as cataracts and pterygia are performed at Rivercity Private Hospital in Auchenflower and Eyetech Day Surgeries in Mount Gravatt.

Dr Chan is involved in regular training of GP registrars through   General Practice Training Queensland and provides lectures to local optometrists and General Practitioners.
